Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Framio Studio handles personal information when you use our website, accounts, upload and generation features, and support channels.
Your uploads and outputs are private by default. Framio Studio does not sell or publicly post customer photographs, and does not use customer photographs or outputs to train Framio's general AI models.
1. Controller and contact
Framio Studio is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@framiostudio.com.
For general, business, media, or partnership enquiries, email hello@framiostudio.com.
2. Data we collect
Account details
Your email address, display name, login method, settings, account status, and authentication and security events.
Images and personas
Source photographs you upload, persona information you create, generation requests, and generated results.
Usage and device data
Feature activity, selected operations, credit usage, timestamps, browser and device information, approximate network location, diagnostics, and security signals.
Support communications
Messages and attachments you send when asking about an account, generation, credits, billing, refunds, or privacy.
Transactions and preferences
Credit and entitlement records, planned subscription preferences, essential cookies, and local-storage preferences. Checkout is not active, so Framio Studio does not currently collect live payment-card or processor transaction data.
3. How we use data
We use personal information to provide accounts and authentication; process requested generations; store personas and results; manage credits and subscriptions; prevent abuse and maintain security; provide customer support; and comply with legal obligations.
We may improve service reliability using aggregated or de-identified operational data. Where required, our legal grounds include performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, consent, and legal obligations.
4. AI processing and training
Framio Studio does not use customer photographs or generated results to train Framio's general AI models. User content is transmitted to AI infrastructure providers only to perform the operation you request, subject to their applicable processing configuration and terms. Facial images are processed as necessary to create the requested portrait results, not for biometric identification or authentication.
We will not introduce future training use without updating this Policy and obtaining any consent required by law.
5. Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and private storage, and OpenAI and Google as server-selected AI image-processing providers. We may also use hosting, security, monitoring, communications, and infrastructure providers by category where needed to operate the service. No public provider choice is offered.
Providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable responsibilities and may receive only the information needed for their role.
6. Privacy and user-directed sharing
Uploads and outputs are private by default. Framio Studio does not publicly post or sell your photographs. If you download, publish, or share content, that sharing is your choice and the recipient or platform may apply its own privacy terms.
7. Retention
These timelines are Framio Studio's operational retention policy, not a restatement of any universal GDPR or other legal deadline.
Source photographs are eligible for automatic deletion 12 months after upload unless you delete them earlier; active processing jobs defer cleanup until they finish. Generated results, including an original and any genuine enhanced version, remain until you delete them or close the account.
After account closure or a verified deletion request, Framio Studio removes or schedules account-linked image content for deletion according to its operational deletion process. Legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and transaction records may be kept longer where required or reasonably necessary. Copies may also remain temporarily in backups until their normal rotation completes.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or account closure; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where relevant; and complain to the appropriate privacy or data-protection authority. Submit requests to support@framiostudio.com. We may need to verify your identity.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and private storage. No system or transmission method is perfectly secure.
10. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, appropriate legal protections such as contractual safeguards are used for international transfers.
11. Children
Framio Studio is not directed to children under 16, and we do not intentionally collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 16 has provided information, contact hello@framiostudio.com so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
12. Policy updates
We may update this Policy as Framio Studio evolves. We will update the date above and communicate material changes appropriately.
